Nominations invited for round 2 of Clinical Senior Lectureship Awards

Nominations are being invited for the second round of Clinical Senior Lectureship Awards. This is the second round of a scheme funded by HEFCE and local NHS trusts to increase the numbers of qualified clinicians undertaking clinical medical research. The deadline for submissions is 16 February 2007.

Fourteen universities were awarded clinical senior lectureships in the first round, as announced in a HEFCE news item in July 2006.
