Reform of research assessment and funding

The Government launched a consultation today titled Reform of Higher Education Research Assessment and Funding. The consultation has been developed by a working group whose members included representatives of all the UK higher education funding bodies and a number of government departments. HEFCE has published modelling illustrating the impact of the five possible approaches discussed in the consultation on HEIs in England.
