HEFCE Board member
Originally from the Isle of Man, Graeme studied politics at the University of York before being elected Academic Officer for the University’s Students’ Union in March 2011. In that role he represented students on all issues related to their academic experience. He was re-elected the following year and worked with a number of higher education organisations.
He was formerly Chair of the 1994 Group Students’ Unions (Unions 94) and is a former member of the Quality Assurance Agency’s Student Advisory Board. Graeme currently works for the University of York Graduate Students' Association, providing advice, support and representation to students on academic and welfare issues.
