HEFCE's approach to risk management

Our approach to risk management is changing to reflect the changing environment for higher education. We have identified 11 strategic risks, which allow us to take a more systemic view of uncertainty. Our monitoring and review procedures for these risks, and the roles and responsibilities relating to risk within the Council, will be set out here in a revised Assurance Framework in autumn 2013.
