HEFCE's approach to risk management

Our approach to risk management is changing to reflect the changing environment for higher education. We have identified 13 new strategic risks, which allow us to take a more systemic view of uncertainty. Our monitoring and review procedures for these new risks, and the roles and responsibilities relating to risk within the Council, will be set out here in a revised Assurance Framework in autumn 2013.
