Map 2 – The change in the young participation rate up to, and including, the 11:12 cohort

This map shows the change in young participation by parliamentary constituency across the country from the 98:99 cohort up to, and including, the 11:12 cohort ('11:12 cohort’ refers to those students who were aged 18 in 2011 and entered higher education either in the academic year 2011-12 or, aged 19, in 2012-13).

A more detailed map which shows how participation rates vary at a more local level, based on HEFCE’s POLAR3 classification, is also available.
