Other funding and monitoring data outputs

We generate a range of funding and monitoring data outputs other than the indicative funding summaries and funding data reconciliations.

We develop these outputs to inform the funding, regulatory and policy activity of the Council, and provide them through our extranet so that institutions can verify the data before we use them. 

Specifically we ask institutions to verify data that we intend to:

  • publish for their institution
  • inform the evaluation of a policy initiative
  • inform other data returns made to HEFCE or our agents
  • inform assurance work.

The outputs

We may produce the following outputs:

  • HEFCE-fundable student FTEs for TRAC(T)
  • National student survey targets
  • Destinations of leavers from higher education
  • Unistats summaries
  • Derived statistics that may inform HESES data audits
  • Derived statistics used for publication and to inform policy
