Funding and monitoring data exercise

To inform and monitor funding allocations, we use data and statistics that universities and colleges submit to respectively the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) or through the Individualised Learner Record (ILR).

We perform funding data reconciliations to monitor returns such as HESES and HEIFES, and produce indicative funding summaries which are used to inform funding allocations such as widening participation and teaching enhancement and student success.
