Evaluation of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education

The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education (LFHE) provides a dedicated service of support and advice on leadership, governance and management for all of the UK’s universities and colleges of higher education. HEFCE commissioned consultancy Blue Alumni to carry out an evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the LFHE.

The evaluation concluded that there is an excellent return on the funding provided to the LFHE by the UK higher education funding bodies. As a small, well-run organisation the LFHE has played a key role in the transformation of leadership, governance and management that has occurred in the higher education sector since 2000.
