Working with national and regional stakeholders, we invest in the third stream to generate culture change within HEIs and to increase the capacity and effectiveness of knowledge exchange between HE and users of all kinds. We are seeking to secure long-term and adequate support for this agenda, so that every HEI can integrate the third stream into its activities in ways that are sustainable and fit with its strategic direction. We aim to increase the impact of the HE knowledge base on the economy and society locally, regionally, nationally and globally, with a view to assisting the country's competitiveness and growth, and the strength and vitality of society through more efficient public services and greater cultural and civic enrichment.
