Workforce development programme

The programme turns on two related goals - the design and delivery of HE courses in partnership with employers, and to increase the number of learners in the workplace supported by their employers. The programme will run from 2008-2011.

Under the programme, we have funded universities to change the way they work with employers through a series of projects, and students supported by their employers have been co-funded by HEFCE. This co-funding will be phased out from 2012 to 2015.
