The Anglia Ruskin University Higher Skills@Work project comprises a highly skilled specialist team. This team works directly with employers to ensure that the university delivers learning programmes that can meet their needs.

The team builds relationships with employers to identify the most appropriate form of higher-level training for their employees. This means that the university is flexible enough to adapt its higher-level learning programmes to the specific requirements of the employer and can adjust to the existing level of accreditation and training in their workforce. It also means that the university can work with employers in a style and at a pace that suits business expectations.

The team serves, therefore, as a key link between the university and employers - it helps employers develop the skills essential for business and pioneers an educational culture at the university that suits work-based learning and champions employer and community engagement.
