Non-recurrent funding
We aim to provide as much as possible of our funding for learning and teaching, widening participation, research and business and community engagement through the core block grant.
We provide further non-recurrent funding, in the form of special funding and ear-marked capital for specific purposes and to promote change that cannot easily be achieved through other routes.
For 2010-11 we are allocating £294 million in special funding and £562 million for earmarked capital grants.
