TRAC dispensation rates and quartile rates
The TRAC dispensation rates to be used when applying to the Research Councils and other public bodies for grants for research projects on a full economic cost basis are now set by Research Councils UK. These rates will apply from April 2010, and will be valid until the end of March 2011.
Upper and lower quartile rates have also been announced. Institutions that have rates above the upper quartile or below the lower quartile should be prepared to justify their rates to sponsors.
