Shared services in the higher education sector

In July 2006 we published a report by KPMG which detailed the extensive range of existing shared services in higher education, many of which have operated for some time.

Liverpool shared services feasibility report

A feasibility study into shared services was undertaken by BUFDG, funded by HEFCE and sponsored by the finance directors of the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. The work was undertaken with the support of PA Consulting and a core team of senior staff in each university during 2005-06.
