Building the Bridge is a project that develops the university’s strong relationship with the visual effects industry, in particular the British visual effects company, Framestore.

It aims to maintain and develop the current global lead of UK visual effects by enabling the continuing and professional development of employees in the industry.

Under the project, the visual effects industry will provide opportunities including mentoring, work placements and internships to support student transition into employment. It will also create opportunities for staff exchanges between academics and industry professionals to facilitate the transfer of knowledge between the industry and higher education.
