This guide brings together the experience of institutions across the higher education sector and provides valuable guidance on developing and implementing an approach to resource allocation in your institution.

Each institution will decide for themselves what they wish to achieve and at what level within the institution they will plan. This guide describes why and how you should implement a resource allocation system, what issues you should consider and what obstacles you may need to overcome.
