About the group

The TDG aims to embed the principles of the Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) throughout the UK higher education sector, and ensure that TRAC and any associated methodologies are fit for use by funding bodies and by institutions.

The group works with a range of organisations, but in particular aims to serve the interests of TRAC practitioners, policy and strategic managers at institutions, and funding organisations.

TDG forms part of a two-tier structure that governs financial sustainability in the HE sector, supporting the Financial Sustainability Strategy Group (FSSG).
