Centre of Excellence for Product and Automotive Design (CEPAD)

This CETL will capitalise on our international profile in automotive design. Through the use of computer technologies we will enable design students to develop spatial intelligence within a culturally diverse and international context. They will create digital portfolios which will be their passports to the community of practice of transport and product design. We will support this through the creation of digital studios and networks. An international partnership will provide professional engagement in project work and portfolio development. This will be underpinned by pedagogic research into design intelligence and curriculum internationalisation.
