2000-01 and 2001-02

This is the 2003 set of performance indicators published by HEFCE for UK universities and higher education colleges.
Published annually, the indicators provide comparative data on the performance of institutions in widening participation, student retention, learning and teaching output, research and employment of graduates. They cover all 168 publicly funded higher education institutions in the UK.
The indicators of widening participation, employment and research use data from 2001-02. The indicators of retention and progression use data from 2000-01.

Extra details include two extra tables (T1c and T2c), expanded versions of the original tables (except Table T6), and additional explanatory information on context statistics for performance indicators. It also includes some worked examples.
