HEFCE closed at the end of March 2018. The information on this website is historical and is no longer maintained.
The HEFCE domain - www.hefce.ac.uk - will continue to function until September 2018. At this point we will close the site entirely and all its information will only be available from the National Web Archive.
HERBi is a free interactive tool that helps higher education institutions to understand the costs and benefits of sharing services. It is a web-based facility where potential shared services can be evaluated and the efficiencies calculated.
This launch event will include a live demonstration of the tool, followed by questions and answers.
HERBi has been funded by HEFCE and developed by FXPlus, the facilities management company jointly owned by the University of Exeter and Falmouth University. The tool has been created using Falmouth and Exeter data and experience as the starting point and has then been beta tested with partners around the sector.
