This conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the likely impact of the TEF and the challenges for its implementation.

Delegates will consider whether the initial metrics to be included in the TEF will provide suitable information for prospective students and lead to changes in the way universities operate.

Sessions will also assess the potential set of further metrics for the latter stages of TEF, including measuring the quality of learning environments, ‘learning gain’ and ‘teaching intensity’.
