All UK universities offering postgraduate programmes value postgraduate students for their contribution to the intellectual and cultural capital of the institutions, and postgraduates are an essential part of the global workforce and the economy. Yet it is becoming increasingly difficult for universities to recruit to both taught and research postgraduate degrees and current statistics show that applications for postgraduate study in the UK have decreased.

This workshop, jointly hosted by HEFCE and UKCGE, will explore barriers to postgraduate study from different perspectives.
