The Government has introduced a new system to designate specific courses at alternative providers. Designation of a course allows eligible English-domiciled students on that course to access loans and grants from the Student Loans Company (SLC).

We are administering the specific-course designation application process on behalf of Government.

This workshop focused on the new application process and covered:

  • overview of specific-course designation
  • the application process
  • student number controls
  • networking lunch
  • annual data returns required for designated courses (HEAPES training).
