Customer care and effective management are important to every institution in delivering core business activities. Delegates and speakers attending the workshops recognise the importance of ensuring that building repairs and maintenance arrangements meet customers' needs, and that service specification and delivery are managed strategically and operationally.
To date 375 delegates have registered, from 147 UK universities and HE colleges, representing a wide range of management skills and responsibilities.
Essential elements of the workshops are the discussion groups. Before joining the workshop, delegates are asked to consider their institutions present maintenance arrangements, and to identify the opportunities and barriers to progress. Each group has between 15 and 20 people, so that delegates can discuss the issues that affect their institutions, and can identify practical solutions as a way forward.
The workshops therefore provide an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues in the sector and they are FREE to all HE institutions. You and your colleagues can join them: register now by completing the electronic reply form.
