HEFCE Annual Conference 2004: 'Meeting future challenges in higher education'
The HEFCE 2004 annual conference took place on 22 - 23 April 2004 at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). Around 130 vice-chancellors and principals, and representatives of other HE organisations, attended plenary sessions given by guest speakers and debated issues in five workshops
