Developing a new relationship between employers and higher education?

02 December 2010

Thursday 2 December, 1000-1615, Conference Aston

We are investing over £150 million across the higher education (HE) sector to change the way it works with employers - to provide more tailored HE courses for employees that are supported by their employers. We have invested in a diverse range of projects, and through co-funding per student which requires a greater contribution from employers.

This event will draw out the progress that has taken place across the projects, and the context in which activities have worked particularly well. The event provides opportunities for delegates to participate in discussions about the relevance of activities to the wider HE sector, and the future of this work in the changing policy and funding environment.

Who should attend

The event is aimed primarily at individuals in the HE sector who have strategic or operational responsibility for skills and employer engagement at universities and colleges (for example, Pro Vice-Chancellors, Directors, project leads).

We are also happy for people from other organisations to attend.

The conference will be held at Conference Aston, Birmingham.
