Nominations invited for round four of Clinical Senior Lectureship Awards

Round four of the Clinical Senior Lectureship Awards opens for nominations today.

This is the fourth of five annual rounds of a scheme funded by HEFCE and local NHS trusts to increase the numbers of qualified clinicians undertaking clinical medical research.

Applications are invited from all medical specialisms, including primary care and dentistry. Nominations should be made jointly by eligible universities (that is, those with undergraduate medical or dental schools) and NHS Trusts or other relevant clinical funders in England, working in partnership.

The deadline for submissions is 2 February 2009.
