Vacancies on strategic advisory committees

Do you have the expertise and vision to contribute to our strategic advisory committees?

The HEFCE Board relies on these committees for advice on the effectiveness of its funding strategies. We have a strategic advisory committee corresponding to each of our areas of strategic activity. Their terms of reference align with our forthcoming strategic plan and emerging priorities. You can learn about our strategic activities from our web-site (www.hefce.ac.uk).

We wish to make a number of new appointments to the committees. You can get more details of these positions from the following contacts:

This is a rewarding activity, giving you the opportunity to contribute to Higher Education at a critical time in its development. You will need to commit time both to reading background papers and to contributing to occasional meetings. These positions are unpaid fixed-term appointments but we pay expenses.

We are interested in appointing members not only from education but also from business and the professions. We are also keen to enhance diversity of the membership of the committees.
