HEFCE wins award for promoting excellence

London Excellence has awarded HEFCE their 2009 Ambassador's Blue Riband award. The award recognises organisations that promote and support learning and development with regards to business excellence in the wider community.

In applying HEFCE showed how it promotes the concepts of excellence through its core activities, including promoting leadership, people involvement and development, continuous improvement and corporate social responsibility.

The judges commended HEFCE for an 'ethos of business excellence which is embedded within the organisation and extends to all their dealings, both internally and externally'.
