fdf is seeking to appoint up to five new members of its Management Board to replace members whose term of office has expired in 2009. Board members normally serve for a term of three years renewable for a further three years.

fdf (Foundation Degree Forward) was established in 2003 as a national body to support the development and validation of high quality Foundation degrees. HEFCE funds fdf to support employer engagement across work-based programmes. fdf works in partnership with employers, employer organisations, higher education institutions and interest groups to ensure that the development of work-based higher -level skills training is driven by the needs of employers and students.

fdf is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who can contribute to their work through their experience of higher education and employer and/or employee perspectives on workforce development, education and training. It is seeking to maintain a balance of expertise across the Board, and to ensure that the Board represents the diversity to which the organisation is committed.
