Study into benchmarking activity welcomed

HEFCE welcomes the publication by the Higher Education Statistics Agency today of a detailed study into the range of benchmarking activity currently taking place in the higher education sector.

The report, funded by HEFCE under the University Modernisation Fund, is the output of the first of a two-stage process designed to help the sector drive efficiency through more effective and extensive benchmarking of its activities.
