Aimhigher healthcare strand: invitation to submit plans for funding

This letter invites each Aimhigher: P4P co-ordinator to submit plans for a new health-specific strand of Aimhigher, on behalf of each Regional Forum. An allocation of up to £1 million over five years from 2004-05 is available to each region, although at this time funding is only guaranteed to March 2006. We request that plans cover the first two years of funding.

This is not a competitive bidding exercise and we will not consider any bids received other than through the Regional Forums.

Full details are set out at Annex A. Contact details for institutions and organisations which feel they can contribute to this strand of activity can be found at Annexes C–F.

Plans should be submitted in two stages. An initial outline should be submitted to HEFCE by 15 April 2004. Full plans should be submitted by 1 June 2004.
