Consultation on Research Funding: Background Studies

Introduction

The Council has commissioned three background studies as part of its review of the funding method for research. They are:

  1. A Review of Volume Indicators, by Professor Ewan Page.
  2. A Study of Selectivity, by Segal Quince Wicksteed (SQW) Ltd.
  3. A Review of the Technology Foresight Programme (TFP) Priorities and Quanta, by Professor Derek Burke.
The complete reports by Professor Page and Professor Burke, and a summary of the SQW report are available electronically.
