Summary

This report gives the findings of a pilot study to test the system for collecting and publishing information on the quality and standards of teaching in higher education. It was prompted by the recommendations of a task group chaired by Sir Ron Cooke (HEFCE 02/15). Results have informed the final guidance on teaching quality information, HEFCE 2003/51.
