Summary

This report assesses the robustness of the questionnaire used for the National Student Survey in 2004-05. It covers the following areas: the representativeness of respondents in the sample, and response rates; the internal consistency of each question and each section, and the contribution of individual questions to the sections; and the statistical relationships between individual questions, the sections, and the ‘overall satisfaction’ item.
