Higher Education teaching funding methods in other countries

This report was commissioned to support HEFCE's review of the teaching funding method ('Review of the teaching funding method: consultation on key principles and features', HEFCE 2010/10).

It focuses on how other countries use public money to support teaching and learning in higher education; considers the systems for funding teaching and learning in seven countries; and examines the extent to which their mechanisms may be of interest in the English context.
