Formative evaluation of the National Scholarship Programme: addendum and summary of year one

Summary

As part of the Government’s National Scholarship Programme (NSP), HEFCE commissioned CFE and the Widening Participation Centre, Edge Hill University to carry out a formative evaluation of the scheme.

In May 2012 we published the outcomes of the evaluation activity undertaken between October 2011 and February 2012 and below are two further documents. Together these complete year one of the formative evaluation:

  1. An addendum, which reports on the outcomes of the evaluation activity conducted between May and August 2012, and is intended to be read alongside the detailed May 2012 report.
  2. A summary, which presents the key findings from the first year of the formative evaluation of the NSP.
