Figure 2 Selected HE‑BCI income streams 2003-04 to 2010-11 (real terms)

Figure 2 shows that income to HEIs from the main HE-BCI indicators for 2003-2011 has grown by around 41 per cent and by around 7 per cent over the last 12 months. These indicators are collaborative research, contract research, consultancy, equipment and facilities services, continuing professional development, regeneration and income from intellectual property.
