Its laboratories will bring together world-class scientists so that they can develop and deliver new treatments. 

The hub will bring together scientists clinicians, allied health professionals and patients. This will help to develop technologies and conduct research which will drive the discovery of causes, treatment and, ultimately, cures for cancer. 

The centre looks to benefit not just local patients but also the UK and global patient communities.
