This project builds on the successes of the UHEvolution project. It will significantly increase the level and volume of employer engagement through a long-term strategy and a scaleable (and replicable) operation model.
The university will offer practical support to its existing and potential business customers by providing practical solutions to problems, especially during the current economic downturn.
Six key employment sectors form the focus of the project. These are:
The project also incorporates important delivery options through further education colleges, apprenticeships and foundation degrees.
UHVentures and Exemplas Ltd will coordinate the business-facing activity. These are subsidiaries of the university that specialise in business development and skills training.
