Diocese Leadership and Management Programme

The University of Chichester will deliver a new leadership and management programme for clergy and lay people who meet the entry requirements, supported by their employers.

The programme follows discussions with the Anglican Diocese of Chichester. It provides a model which can be rolled out to other dioceses and employers.

It contributes to the realisation of the current diocese workforce development plan to create a more business-orientated leadership and management style from clergy and support staff, with an element of entrepreneurialism. There will be an essential e-learning element incorporated within the project. This will allow for blended-learning courses that meet the requirements of a workforce with diverse learning and skills needs, over a large area, and with limited opportunity for face-to-face learning.
