E2 – Enterprise and employment: engaging creative industries small and medium-sized employers (SMEs) in the design and delivery of higher education

The project aims to facilitate the involvement of employers in the design and development of work-based programmes to address knowledge and skills gaps. It focuses on the creative industries. Employers in this sector are often small to medium-sized enterprises and micro businesses, and the project seeks to engage these types of employers in the design and delivery of learning programmes.

More specifically, the project will develop:

• a means of career entry for non-traditional entrants (black and minority ethnic persons and the economically disadvantaged)
• opportunities for up-skilling existing employees to enhance their effectiveness and realise the sector’s greater potential.
