The East Midlands Metropolitan Area Network already provides a shared core network service and access to JANET to the partner higher education institutions (HEIs). This feasibility study will explore the demand and opportunity for developing a shared network security service to provide East Midlands HEIs with advanced 24 hour network security monitoring, alerting and response.
