Category : Procurement
Feasibility study reference : FS52
Lead institution : University of Huddersfield
This study will investigate the feasibility of a single e-catalogue for the sector, which has the potential for a lower-per-institution cost for the provision of the service, and to allow a greater level of volume leverage of the supply market. In particular, it should facilitate the expansion of e-marketplaces in the sector where supplier adoption is a problem because of the commitment they have in maintaining an electronic price list. A single e-catalogue will allow suppliers to manage their catalogues once for all marketplaces in the sector.
Total funding : £40,000
