TRAC management information project

The Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC) Development Group (TDG) has identified and developed good management practice in the use of TRAC data. This will provide enhanced management tools for universities and colleges in the following areas:

• analysing departmental profitability
• course costing
• workload planning and allocating staff time
• resource allocation

Outputs will consist of a report, case studies, and good practice guidance, and were launched at a sector conference in 2011.
