Project reference : LTC-005
Lead institution : University of London
This Leading Transformational Change (LTC) project aimed to capture the good practice from a pilot project involving the University of London, Royal Holloway College and Goldsmith's. The pilot project was intended to look at ways to improve the speed and efficiency of knowledge transfer, as well as wealth and job creation between higher education (HE) and the creative industries.
Work on a Centre for Creative Industries is underway. The LTC project will disseminate the good practice gained, and work with a broad range of stakeholders, such as planning authorities, creative-industries employers and neighbourhood organisations. This will contribute to good practice in HE's 'leadership of space'.
The project will also develop feedback loops between the stakeholders, using conventional and new media, (particularly those relevant to creative media, such as Twitter).
The project will run from January 2010 to July 2011.
Total funding : £255,000
