Leadership, governance and management issues of two higher and further education partnerships

This project, which was completed in 2006, identified and analysed issues relating to the governance, management and leadership of HE/FE partnerships.

A framework for the effective operation of such partnerships was an intended output of the project. The feasibility of HE/FE partnerships was promoted thus widening participation to those sectors of the population who would benefit from HE studies but who find access difficult.

Through membership of the Consortium of Consortia, the partners worked with and disseminated to all the present HE/FE partnerships operating across England.
