HE in FE - building HE management and governance capacity in further education colleges

This regional collaboration will involve the Universities of Plymouth and Bournemouth and their participating further education colleges (FECs), with two observer universities - Gloucestershire and Staffordshire, in close collaboration with Foundation Degree Forward, the Association of Colleges and the Higher Education Academy. It is intended to identify and address in the participating FECs the leadership, governance and management challenges at the Board of Governors, Senior Management Team and HE Coordinator levels with respect to providing quality HE in further education and to develop and pilot the delivery of pathfinder leadership and management development events for the region's FECs.
