Governance: developing a 'how to' guide on ethics for all universities and colleges - continuation

Continuation of this project, which has developed a ‘how to’ guide on ethical issues in higher education, into a three month implementation phase. The report ‘Ethics Matters’ was launched at the meeting of the Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE) on 5 October 2005. Higher education institutions have suggested that the CIHE should continue the project beyond what was envisaged so further experiences and issues can be shared, institutional guides developed and training material prepared and disseminated. A statement on underlying higher education values will also be developed with the Society for Research into Higher Education and others.
