This work, which took place in 2008 and 2009 was led by the Committee of University Chairmen (CUC) and delivered by the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education. The project:

  1. conducted market research on governors' needs
  2. developed learning materials for the governor development programme, delivered by LFHE, in the areas of finance, human resources, risk, estates and infrastructure, and audit
  3. researched the value added to higher education by good governance
  4. established a governors' web-site
